Game fixes

The game has been updated to address two major criticisms:

1. I've widened the field of view a bit as many people felt that it was "too zoomed in" before.
2. Pressing ESC now brings you to a pause screen rather than immediately quitting the game.

These changes necessitated some other changes in terms of character speed and culling but essentially the game is otherwise unchanged.
